Copperwork
I love working with copper and brass, there is so much more scope for creativity and design…

Some copper kitchen hoods. These examples we’re probably made back in the early late 1980’s and early 1990’s.
Ford Escort Rally RS1700 Louvred Bonnet Panel
A simple aluminium louvred bonnet panel with custom sized louvres, just the sort of jobs we like..!

We made a louvre tool especially for this job because we did not have a tool to fit these dimensions. Our client sent us the sizes he needed and we constructed a tool to fit our machinery. Once that was done, it didn’t take long to punch out the panel. The panel you see in these photos is oversized so our client had plenty of room to trim to suit.
Louvred Panel for a Single Seater Racing Car
Another simple louvred panel, this time mounted over the front wheel arches. Our client was going to pop-rivet and tailor them to the car himself…

A pair of simple aluminium panels to be mounted over the front wheel arches on a modern sports car. Our customer needed a row of louvres in some sort of lightweight attachable panel to release any trapped air within the wheel arch which would therefore increase down-force. Luckily one of our existing louvre tools was of a suitable size so we used that, with templates supplied by our client.
